Animal 1
Alpacas & Sheep
Known for their gentle nature, our alpacas and sheep are the stars of the farm. Growers participate in feeding, grooming, and pasture management. The fiber harvested from our alpacas even makes its way into our life skills program, where Growers help prepare yarn for our Etsy shop.
Animal 2
Poultry
Our chickens provide a lively and engaging environment for our Growers. Tasks include gathering eggs, ensuring clean water and feed, and maintaining a secure coop. This daily rhythm teaches attention to detail and the importance of nurturing living creatures.
New Project
The Duck Pond
We are constantly growing! Our latest project, a dedicated duck pond, offers a peaceful aquatic environment for our waterfowl and new observation opportunities for our Growers to study animal behaviors and habitats.
Therapeutic &
Vocational Growth
Caring for animals requires consistency, patience, and observation, all critical life skills. Growers learn to recognize the needs of different species, follow safety protocols, and maintain a clean barn environment. This hands-on training reduces stress, improves social interaction, and provides a tangible sense of being needed.
